Who handles your data
The owner of the Padel Companion website. For any question: privacy@padelcompanion.net.
What data and why
- Account: email, password (stored in a form that can’t be read), player name, language, time zone and sign-up date. Used to give you your account and send you service emails. Basis: our contract with you.
- Matches and watches: scores, sets, times and duration sent by your watch; names, place and notes you write; the names of your watches. Used to show you your matches and the Live scoreboard. Basis: the contract.
- Heart rate and calories: only if you turn them on. They are health data. Basis: your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time from your profile; when you do, we delete them.
- Sign in with Google: if you use it, Google gives us your email and confirms that it is yours.
- Payment: handled by Paddle, which tells us your name, email, country and what you bought. We never see your card details. Basis: the contract.
- IP address: used only in memory to limit repeated attempts; we don’t store it. Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Who sees them
You do. To run the service, the site owner can see each account’s email, player name, sign-up date, and the number and dates of its matches, and can delete an account on request. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
Providers
They process data on our behalf, only to run the site: Fly.io (servers, in Germany), Cloudflare (domain and backups), Resend (emails, sent from Ireland) and Google (only for Sign in with Google). They are US companies: transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Paddle (United Kingdom) handles purchase data as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy.
How long
For as long as you have an account. If you delete it from your profile, your data disappears from the site immediately and from backups within 7 days. Paddle keeps purchase data for tax purposes.
Cookies
Only technical ones, needed for the site to work: sign-in, form protection, language and time zone. No profiling or third-party cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, to restrict its use or to object, by writing to privacy@padelcompanion.net. You can also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or to the authority in your country.
Age
The site is for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes in an important way, we will tell you on your next visit.
